Texas Tech Alumni Association Excellence Grant 2024

Since 1927, Texas Tech Alumni Association has promoted loyalty, service and support to Texas Tech University. Our association provides student scholarships, assists in academic recruiting, funds endowed professorships and formally recognizes faculty and staff achievements.
Texas Tech Alumni Association is pleased to announce we will award a grant of $50,000 in 2024 to a college, department, program or initiatives of Texas Tech University. New and existing programs/initiatives that merit additional funding are eligible.

PURPOSE
The purpose of this grant is to assist faculty and/or staff in their efforts to:
• Improve access and/or support educational opportunities for Texas Tech University students.
• Develop collaborations that promote awareness of Texas Tech University and enhance its reputation in the community, the state and the nation.
• Encourage educational innovation.
• Support the Texas Tech University strategic plan and its Tier One efforts.
